I am a cynic. The world is a show and I am its toughest critic. However, I have a natural humor… or at least I think I do. So I guess I am just a delightful cynic… if there is such a thing. At the same time, I like my writing to be impactful. My goal, typically, is to leave the reader thinking. And if not that, I ‘ll leave them with that “wow” feeling. Like what I just said actually means something to them. As to why I do this, I don’t know. It could be because I have always been told I am good at it. Positive reinforcement goes a long way. Keep praising me and I’ll keep doing it. I suppose I am like a dog in that respect, which is a flattering prospect.
